PROJECT 100
Project “Creating Competitive Start-up Enterprises” (Project 100) is implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Energy in cooperation with United Nations Development Programme through the established network of business centers and business incubators of project “Job Opportunities through Business Support” – JOBS. The project aims at developing sustainable and competitive private sector through providing complete and purposeful support for starting and developing micro- and small enterprise in Bulgaria in the sphere of manufacturing or services. For the period of 2004-2006 Project 100 implemented successfully programme for complete support of start-up enterprises, including access to financial resources, in eleven regions in the country. The overall budget for the same period was estimated at 3,4 million level, provided by the Ministry of Economy and Energy.

Grant financial assistance will be provided to start-up contractors in one of the following districts: Haskovo, Lovech and Montana .
From 2 to 6 July 2007 will be organized regional information meetings according to the following schedule:
2 July 2007 – Lyubimetz, 14 00 p.m., hall “Lyubimetz”, “3 rd Mart” Square
2 July 2007 – Topolovgrad, 17 30 p.m., the hall in Topolovgrad Municipality , 1 “ Bulgaria ” Square
3 July 2007 – Haskovo, 14 00 p.m., the hall of Haskovo Municipality , 1 “Obshtinski” Square
4 July 2007 – Troyan, 16 00 p.m., the hall of “Nauka” Community Centre, “Vazrajdane” Square
5 July 2007 – Lovech, 11 00 a.m., hall 109 in “Preslav” Centre, 24 “Targovska” Str.
5 July 2007 – Lukovit, 16 00 p.m., the Conference room of Lukovit Municipality , 73 “Vazrajdane” Str.
6 July 2007 – Montana , 14 00 p.m., the small hall of the Youth Centre
Schedule of the activities – Stage 1
Start of Stage 1 for 2007 and application with a business offer: 9 – 20 July
Evaluation of the business offers: 23-26 July
Implementation of the training courses and the examination test: 30 July – 10 August
Development of business plans: 13 August- 7 September
Evaluation of the projects: October
Announcement of the results: in the end of October
Applicants should submit 2 copies of the Request for participation in Project 100 for the particular region. The deadline for submitting requests for Stage 1 is 20.07.2007. Submission of documents for each region can only be made in one of the offices of the Business centres in: Haskovo, Lovech and Montana . Documentation should be delivered personally or by post to the addresses, written below, during the working hours of the offices.
