The fourth annual community meeting of the America for Bulgaria Foundation – Together We Shine Brighter was held on June 14.
The team of the Regional Municipalities Association “Maritza” took part in it. During the annual meeting, successful and inspiring initiatives and projects changing the environment in Bulgaria were presented, supported by the America for Bulgaria Foundation.
Speakers at the event were: Ambassador Herro Mustafa, U.S. Ambassadors to Bulgaria, Nancy L. Schiller, President and CEO of ABF, Ned Dervenkov and Dobromir Ivanov, BESCO, Lora Krumova and Mariya Yotova, MAD IN BG media platform, Yana Rupeva, Northwest Project Foundation, Mezdra, Martin Yankov, The Collective Foundation, Elenko Elenkov, Begach Running Club, Eleonora Slivkova, Association “For Change”, village of Strumyani, Irina Nedeva, Association of European Journalists-Bulgaria, Georgi Kadrev, Kelvin Health and many others.
From december 2020 RMA “Maritza implements e-METER for Good Governance in Haskovo Region, funded by the AMERICA FOR BULGARIA FOUNDATION under the Program “The Next 10: Supporting Ideas that Matter in the Next Ten Years” in the framework of the Request for Proposals „Good Governance at the Local Level”. The aim of the project is related to the enlighten the environment for conducting public procurement by the Contracting Authorities – local authorities in Haskovo Region. The project continues in 2022.
