Within the framework of the e-METER for Good Governance in Haskovo Region, Grant agreement № BEE.1028.20201202 from 08.12.2020 funded by the AMERICA FOR BULGARIA FOUNDATION under the Program “The Next 10: Supporting Ideas that Matter in the Next Ten Years” in the framework of the Request for Proposals „Good Governance at the Local Level” a monitoring analysis was developed for public procurement of the Municipalities in Haskovo Region for the period June 2020 – July 2020.
The monitoring analysis of public procurement in Haskovo region reports data from the created portal and procurement profiles of the relevant public authorities, as well as includes information that was not the subject of presentation on the portal, such as:
– information on appealed procedures in the CPC;
– identified delays in conducting public procurement after the deadline for submitting offers, etc.
The analysis formulates specific recommendations for improving the public procurement process. On the basis of the analysis, defined problems and recommendations were formulated.
