On June 13, 2023, at the invitation of the International Hellenic University, representatives of 4 companies from Haskovo region participated in Bulgarian-Greek business matching meetings (B2B) under the GR BG BUSINESS PASSPORT project in Kavala. RMA Maritza supported the necessary matching of the business from Bulgaria with representatives of companies from Drama, Xanthi and Kavala in Greece.
Here are some of the meeting highlights:
• Declared intentions for a partnership between a producer company in the rubber industry from Haskovo Region and a recycling company from Drama, Greece. The companies discussed opportunities to develop a joint solar panel recycling business, develop a rubber waste input business and a tire recycling opportunity.
• Initiated contacts between restaurateurs from Haskovo Region with wine producers from Drama, Greece and discussed opportunities for distribution of wine products in Bulgaria.
• Development of opportunities for sharing experience and production practices between meat processors from Haskovo and Xanthi Regions, Greece.
• Development of possibilities for using confectionery elements from Greece in confectionery workshops in Bulgaria.
The participants also visited the Robotics laboratory at the International Hellenic University in Kavala.
